The Kili Climb

Alex Asigno

asigno-k2-008.jpg Having climbed K2 in 2002, the second highest mountain in the world, by the Abruzzi Spur (8,611m) and Lhotse (8,516m), Alex Asigno is the most experienced climber of the group. He was notable for his facilitator roles on many alpine routes in the Himalayas.

Hmm. Seriously joking aside, I’ve now realised that writing about yourself is exceptionally hard and I’m really not sure where to start! So to the basics, I’m 26 and work for a Search Marketing company in Brighton. I love travelling and have extensively travelled such places as Australia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, so am very excited to spend some time in Africa. Whilst ingesting other cultures around the globe I became a rescue diver and received a skydiving license. I tend to be more laid back than I should be and seem to find a funny side in everything which often gets me in to trouble. I’m also a keen practioner in the martial arts and have trained in Shotokan Karate for over ten years and train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on the side.

    Hi Alex,

Hope you achieve this new adventure! and raise funds for Amani’s.

I’m applying for a job in Spannerworks, for Paid search analyst, I’m brazilian, and If I have lucky maybe we can train jiu jitsu as I’m from Rio de Janeiro.

    cheers and good trip
